BitCtrl at InnoTrans 2016

The InnoTrans 2016 – the International Trade Fair for Transport Technology – takes place in Berlin from September 20th to 23rd, 2016.

BitCtrl and hardware partner VIANOVA Technologies will present their latest developments in the field of infotainment and passenger information in hall 2.1 / booth 409.

The reliable display of transfer connections and times in vehicles becomes more and more important for public transport. Thus, the focus of the presentations will be on dynamic passenger information in the infotainment system. The bitcontrol® DPI server is part of the modular bitcontrol® LISA software family and created to comfortably realize the requirements of dynamic passenger information display on the basis of standardized interfaces (according VDV)  for small and large vehicle fleets.

Another highlight will be the passenger information displayed as route in a map. The vehicle icon is moving over a street map and shows the route and the stops.
This form of passenger information will be used in New York busses for the first time.

In addition, BitCtrl presents other bitcontrol® LISA software components:
The powerful bitcontrol® Multicontent Multimedia Player for Windows, for example, is now also available as Linux version.
The comprehensive bitcontrol® Content Management System can be easily adapted to customer needs and runs as a local system or in the cloud.

In order to better help our customers, BitCtrl offer different financing models beside the classic purchase, which makes the decision for the bitcontrol® infotainment software easier.

The second major part at the fair booth 409 in hall 2.1 will be the appropriate infotainment hardware products of VIANOVA Technologies that perfectly match the bitcontrol® software.

The heart of the infotainment hardware systems is the modularly structured display family, in addition to the fan less vehicle server MS-700.

Passenger information and passenger entertainment can be displayed on one or two screens in HD quality.

Because of the APIX technology, only one wire pair is necessary for the transmission of two HD video signals. The other wire pair can be used for system diagnosis almost in real time.
