Infotainment for Busses in New York

In cooperation with hardware partner Vianova Technologies, BitCtrl equips 92 busses in New York with modern infotainment technology. The versatile bitcontrol® Multicontent Multimedia Player and the powerful bitcontrol® Conent Management System will be used. The first vehicles with infotainment systems should be on the road until the end of this year.

The route displayed in a map was realized as additional passenger information for the first time in this comprehensive pilot project.
The vehicle moves as icon over the map and shows the route and the stops of the vehicle.

Furthermore the audio playback of passenger information, error and service messages via infotainment system was implemented for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
